The RPG-7 is a Soviet-designed, portable, reusable, shoulder-launched, and unguided anti-tank grenade launcher. Developed by the Russian company Bazalt, this weapon is renowned for its ruggedness, simplicity, low cost, and effectiveness, making it the most widely used anti-armor weapon in the world. It is utilized by the armed forces of roughly 40 countries and is also highly popular among irregular and guerrilla forces. Due to its widespread production, many variations have been developed by nine different countries. The most common variants include the RPG-7D paratrooper model, which can be broken down into two parts for easier carrying, and the lighter Chinese Type 69 RPG.
